Unless you don't care if u keep ur inventory between aether and overworld then u can use Aether 2 highlands. Gilded Games presents: The original Aether mod! Additions: Eternal day can be toggled in the mod config (intended to be used by modpack creators).

Aether 1.6.4 Mod

1.6.41^[1] is an update to the Aether II mod, also known as the Summer Hotfix, which was released on August 9, 2014, it nerfed Zepyhrs to fix complaints of them being too overpowered, bug fixes, and added the addition of companions and new items.

1.6.4.3^[1] is an update to the Aether II mod, which was released on September 19, 2014, and was primarily a bug fixes patch.

• An exploit with Blue Aerclouds, which allowed Survival players to fly has been patched.
• Fixed a memory leak with animal spawning within in the Aether dimension.
• Fixed a major issue where Dungeon spawners wouldn't spawn hostile mobs.
• Fixed some placement issues with Cloud information
• Floating blocks that drop from Gravitite tool abilities now drops the correct block metadata.
